I recieved my 2 maggieframe Hoops which look and feel top quality. I'm static to put them into use. Had a little issue with one of the adaptors but the prompt response and great customer service made it all worth it.

Honestly, hooping with the standard hoops is what took the joy away from me with embroidery. Every time I would set out to create something, it became a stressful moment. I’m really happy with the MaggieFrame Magnetic Hoop for Fortever Halo 100 Halo-X Embroidery Machine! The quality is excellent, and it makes hooping so much easier and faster. Let me tell you—this MaggieFrame Magnetic Hoop 5.1” is the Beyoncé of embroidery hoops. Elegant, powerful, and doesn’t tolerate nonsense. I used to fight with regular hoops like they owed me money. Not anymore.
I just slap the fabric in, and BOOM—magnetized like it’s falling in love. No more fiddling with screws like a confused raccoon. It holds tighter than my grandma’s hugs and doesn’t let go until I say so.

Help! My needle hit the edge of the frame (a needle strike). Why did this happen and how can I prevent it?
Needle strikes generally occur when the selected hoop size in the SiV embroidery machine software exceeds the actual embroidery area of your MaggieFrame magnetic hoop, or when the design itself is digitized too large. Always confirm the correct or smaller hoop size in your machine's settings and perform a trace test before stitching to prevent misalignment or needle damage.
The bracket connecting the frame to my machine seems a bit loose. How should I tighten it properly?
If your MaggieFrame magnetic hoop bracket feels loose, check that the screws are snug where the bracket connects to the frame, not the machine. Hand-tighten them firmly, then gently use a screwdriver to secure without over-tightening. Proper bracket tension ensures stable embroidery performance on your SiV machine and extends the lifespan of the magnetic embroidery hoop.
When using this magnetic frame, should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or 'floated' outside of it?
For most embroidery projects, especially with garments and flat pieces, it’s best to sandwich the stabilizer with the fabric between the MaggieFrame magnetic hoops. This provides even tension and prevents shifting. For thick or delicate materials, you may float the stabilizer under the bottom hoop—this technique works well on SiV machines for improving stitch quality and fabric protection.
