I recieved my 2 maggieframe Hoops which look and feel top quality. I'm static to put them into use. Had a little issue with one of the adaptors but the prompt response and great customer service made it all worth it.

Let me tell you—this MaggieFrame Magnetic Hoop 5.1” is the Beyoncé of embroidery hoops. Elegant, powerful, and doesn’t tolerate nonsense. I used to fight with regular hoops like they owed me money. Not anymore.

Will my Avance embroidery machine automatically detect this 9.5″ × 9.5″ (240 × 240 mm) magnetic hoop?
Like most third-party magnetic embroidery hoops, the Avance 1501C or 1504C machine will not automatically recognize the MaggieFrame size. You should manually add the hoop parameters to your machine software and confirm that your design fits within the actual stitching field. This ensures optimal alignment and prevents needle strikes.
Which hoop size works best for embroidering polo shirt logos?
When working with polo logos, choosing the appropriate magnetic embroidery hoop depends on your design scale. For small standard logos, a 5-inch hoop offers quick handling and precision. For slightly larger designs or stacked text, a 7-inch or 9.5-inch (240 mm) hoop gives extra room while maintaining fabric stability and control on Avance models.
Should I place the stabilizer inside the magnetic frame or float it underneath?
For most garments, sandwiching the stabilizer with the fabric between the MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery hoop layers ensures secure tension and even stitching. For thicker or structured items like bags and jeans, floating the stabilizer beneath the bottom frame can reduce bulk and protect the material surface from hoop marks.
Why is my fabric puckering during stitching when using the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop?
Puckering usually results from stabilizer selection rather than hoop tension. Ensure you use the correct stabilizer type and weight for your fabric—cut-away for knits and tear-away for woven fabrics. Do not overstretch the fabric while hooping; allow the magnetic tension of the MaggieFrame to hold it naturally flat for smooth embroidery results on your Avance machine.
