Before you place the order, please confirm the Hoop Length and Hoop Brackets we listed is the same as your current hoop or fit your embroidery machine.

Are there any situations where using a traditional screw hoop would be better than this magnetic frame?

For heavy items like boot tongues or dense leather patches, some embroiderers prefer the manual tightening control of a classic hoop. However, for apparel, caps, and bags, the magnetic hoop is generally faster and more convenient.
I need to embroider a very small item, such as a tie or sock. Can I float these items on top of this frame?
Yes. You can easily float small items on the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop by securing a sticky stabilizer or base fabric within the hoop, then positioning the small item, such as a tie or sock, on top. This floating technique is ideal for PROMOTEX machines because it avoids fabric distortion and lets you embroider delicate or narrow materials without forcing them into a tiny hoop area.
When using this magnetic frame, should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or floated outside of it?
Both methods work well depending on the material. For most garments, it’s best to sandwich the stabilizer with the fabric between both sides of the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for firm tension. For bulky or hard-to-hoop items, many PROMOTEX users prefer to float the stabilizer underneath the hoop, letting the magnetic frame hold the fabric above.
