FAQs

The magnetic frame has attracted broken needle tips or metal dust. What is the safest way to clean this debris off?

The best way to remove metal particles or needle fragments from your MaggieFrame magnetic hoop is to use a piece of strong tape, such as duct tape, or a sticky putty to gently lift debris away. Avoid wiping with your fingers or metal tools, as magnets can grab shards quickly. Regular cleaning keeps the magnetic embroidery frame surface even and prolongs its life.

Can I use this frame size to embroider small items like baby onesies or pet bandanas?

Yes, the 7.6″ × 2.7″ (195 × 70 mm) MaggieFrame magnetic hoop size works great for smaller projects such as baby onesies, sleeves, or pet bandanas. For very compact designs, you can float the item on stabilizer within the embroidery hoop magnetic area. This approach keeps fabric stable and delivers clean, accurate embroidery results.

Is the magnetic strength of this frame strong enough to hold steady on thick materials like heavy jackets or backpacks?

Absolutely. The MaggieFrame magnetic hoops for Share SRCXJ-1201 and 1202 embroidery machines are built with industrial-grade magnet strength to secure thick or layered materials such as denim jackets, canvas, or quilted fabrics. The magnet hoop provides consistent grip without fabric slippage, ensuring smooth stitching even on challenging textiles.

What is the correct procedure for hooping fabric with this magnetic frame? Are there any special techniques?

To use your MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery frame, place the bottom frame on your flat surface first. Next, position the stabilizer and fabric evenly over it, then align and snap the top frame into place. Allow the magnets to engage naturally—do not force them together. This simple method ensures even tension and reduces the chance of hoop burns or fabric damage.
