I mainly embroider polo logos. How do I choose between different hoop sizes?
For polo shirts and logo work, a 5″ hoop gives great control on compact designs, while a 6″ × 8″ (150 × 200 mm) embroidery magnetic hoop offers more flexibility for larger logos or stacked text. Why is my fabric puckering in the center, even though it’s tightly hooped?

Ensure you use a suitable type and weight of stabilizer—cut-away for knits and tear-away for woven fabrics—and avoid stretching the material while hooping with the MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery hoop. Proper backing prevents movement and keeps stitches smooth on Zoje embroidery machines.
Should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or floated outside when using this hoop?
Both methods work with MaggieFrame embroidery magnetic hoops. For most garments, placing the stabilizer sandwiched with the fabric inside the hoop gives best stability. For bulky or hard-to-hoop items like finished hoodies, floating the stabilizer underneath can make hooping easier while maintaining proper support during embroidery on Zoje ZJ-1201 or ZJ-1202HC models.
