What embroidery hoops can I use with the HoopTalent Hooping Station Kit for RIKEA?
The HoopTalent Hooping Station Kit for RIKEA is designed to work with magnetic embroidery hoops such as MaggieFrame models, including 5.1″×5.1″ (130×130 mm), 6″×8″ (152×203 mm), 7.6″×2.7″ (195×70 mm), and other standard sizes. Large hoops like 17″×15.5″ (432×394 mm) are not recommended as their dimensions exceed the stable area of the station.
How do I install and align the Main Station and Sleeve Station?
Place the 405 mm (15.9″) Main Station on a flat surface and attach the appropriate fixtures for your garment type. The 215 mm (8.5″) Sleeve Station can be positioned beside it for sleeves or smaller items. Ensure fixtures are tightened evenly and the hoop sits parallel to the board before securing your garment to achieve accurate hoop placement on embroidery designs.
Is this hooping station suitable for thick or stretchy fabrics?
Yes, the HoopTalent Hooping Station allows even tension distribution on various fabrics, including fleece, jersey, and canvas. When hooping thicker or elastic materials, gently stretch the fabric before placing it under the magnetic hoop for balanced tension. This ensures crisp embroidery results and reduces puckering on RIKEA-compatible machines.
