Watch videoFAQs
Do you offer any accessory to work with this frame for positioning on garments?
Yes, we offer the Hooptalent hooping station fixture designed to work perfectly with this MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for Melco embroidery machines. It helps you achieve faster and more accurate garment positioning every time. Other hooping stations may not align correctly with our magnetic hoops, so the dedicated fixture is recommended for best performance.
I feel like the magnetic frame is shifting slightly on the machine during high-stitch-count designs. How can I fix this?
This issue is quite rare due to the strong magnets of MaggieFrame. First, make sure the Melco embroidery machine brackets and screws are tightly secured. Verify you are using the right stabilizer for your fabric. For dense or slippery materials, some users place a thin non-slip liner between fabric layers to enhance grip and avoid movement during stitching.
What types of designs is this specific frame size best suited for?
The 8.7″ × 5″ (220 × 130 mm) magnetic hoop is ideal for designs placed on jacket fronts, sweatshirts, tote bags, or medium-sized logo zones. On Melco EMT16X or Bravo machines, it’s a highly versatile embroidery hoop size that fits both flat and slightly curved garment areas without distorting stitches or fabric texture.
Are the top and bottom parts of the magnetic frame symmetrical, or do they have a specific orientation?
The MaggieFrame magnetic hoop features uniquely shaped top and bottom parts that align perfectly every time. Both sides contain embedded magnets designed to maintain even pressure and reliable tension during operation on Melco embroidery machines. This orientation ensures stable hooping and reduces the chance of misalignment or hoop marks.
